Monnie Wasse, past-president of the American Society of Diagnostic and Interventional Nephrology (ASDIN) and director of interventional nephrology at Rush University Medical Centre (Chicago, USA), talks to the next generation about the Nephrology Partnership for Advancing Technology in Healthcare (N-PATH) project—an innovative European training course that is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme—at the recent EndoVascular Access meeting (EVA; 24–25 June, Patras, Greece).

Georgia Georgopoulou (Patras, Greece), Raquel Barba Teba (Madrid, Spain) and Louis Firket (Liege, Belgium) discuss how they came to take part in the project, the various modules it covers and the benefits brought about by such a collaboration which they agree is “a great initiative”. Wasse concludes that “this is something that I will take back to the United States. I love this programme and finding out more about it”.
